Martin Staunton Band reached no.15 in the Irish Singles Chart in October 2006 with their debut single "My Luck is About to Change". The song received extensive airplay nationwide and was named by Today FM DJ, Ray Darcy as one of his five favourite songs of the year.
Since then the seven piece band have been building a profile around the country. Their debut album is recorded and will be released in early 2008 on N4 Records. The bands musical style is hard to pin point, but has folk, blues, country and jazz inluences.
